Tella is an online English education company based in Seoul, South Korea. We provide chat-based English lessons via messaging apps such as KakaoTalk and other platforms. Tella was founded with a mission to create professional career for Ugandan university graduates, who have very high English proficiency and a great potential but limited job opportunities.
We are differentiating our services by focusing on chat-based lessons, adding customized learning based on data analysis of each customer. We aims to expand it's horizon to other East Asian countries, and hopefully all over the world.

Job Description
TELLA, an emerging online English education company in Korea, is looking for talented English tutors. The job involves teaching English to Korean adults through online messengers.
What you do >>
-
Online English tutoring with Korean students - tutoring 2 students simultaneously.
-
Talk about various everyday situations with tutoring materials provided.
-
Correct unnatural/wrong sentences - the core service you would offer.
-
Specific guidelines & official training will be given.

Work from Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day
Requirements >>
1.High English Proficiency
- Fluent verbal and written English (British or American)
- Use of accurate spelling & grammar is required
- Prior English teaching experience is highly recommended
2. Open-minded
- Passionate to meet new people and get to know them
- Willing to communicate and able to put oneself in other’s shoes
3. Gadgets for work
- Own a laptop and personal smartphone
- Typing speed of over 45 wpm (you can test at: www.typingtest.com)
